AP TET Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility
AP TET Educational Qualifications for Paper 1 Part A
- AP TET Paper I: In the case of AP TET Paper I which will be conducted for classes 1 to 5, the minimum qualification is Intermediate with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El.Ed.) / 2 – Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- AP TET Paper II: In the case of AP TET Paper-II which will be conducted for classes 6 to 8, the minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline or Post Graduation with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated BEd/ MEd
AP TET Educational Qualifications for Paper 1 Part B (Classes 1 to 5) (Special Schools): RCI Qualifications Elementary:-
- Intermediate/ Senior Secondary and two year DEd Special Education in any of the categories of disability OR one-year Diploma in Special Education (DSE) in any of the category of disability OR
- Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs OR
- Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs OR
- Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs OR

AP TET Educational Qualifications for Paper 2 Part A (Classes 6 to 8):
Mathematics and Science Teachers/ Social Studies Teachers/ Language Teachers
- At least 50 per cent marks either in Graduation/ Post Graduation with BEd OR
- Graduation with at least 45 per cent marks and 1 year Bachelor of Education in accordance with the NCTE OR Graduation with at least 50 per cent marks and 1 year BEd (Special Education) OR
- Intermediate/Senior Secondary with at least 50 per cent marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (BEIEd) OR 4 years BA/ BScEd or BAEd/ BScEd OR
- Post Graduation with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade and three years integrated BEd-MEd
Note: The minimum percentage of marks in graduation will not be applicable to those who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education prior to July 29, 2011. The relaxation of up to 5 per cent in the qualifying marks will be allowed to the SC/ ST/ BC/ PH.

Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects (or) Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) (or) Graduation in Literature (or) Post Graduation in Language concerned and Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers

Selection Procedure
AP TET selection process consists of a written test consisting of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Candidates willing to teach classes 1 to 5 have to apply for Paper-I and candidates willing to teach classes 6 to 8 have to apply for Paper-II. One can appear for both Papers I and Paper II.
