SVAYEM Scheme 2020: Assam Government has re-announced Swami Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment (SVAYEM) Scheme (SVAYEM Scheme), under which Govt. of Assam will be providing a good amount of money to the youths of Assam State. The Scheme was launched for the first time by Govt. of Assam in the year 2017. Under SVAYEM Scheme 2020, 2 Lakhs eligible educated youths of Assam will be benefited with Rs 50,000/- from the Govt. in order to support their way of income. Eligibility criteria of the Scheme will be available below.

Scheme Name: Swami Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment (Re-SVAYEM) Scheme

No of Beneficiaries to be benefited: 2,00,000 (Two Lakhs) Nos.
Financial Support to be provided: Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only)
Applicable areas: All districts of Assam including autonomous district councils.

Eligibilty Citeria for SVAYEM Scheme 2020
In order to become eligible for SVAYEM Scheme Assam 2020 & Apply Online, please ensure below conditions are met –
- Candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam State.
- Age of the candidate must be less than 40 years.
- He/She must be minimum 10th pass.
- Candidate must be a member of Self Help Groups (SHGs), Joint Liability Groups (JLGs), Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and Cluster Level SPVs/ Federations registered before 1st September 2020.

Swami Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment (Re-SVAYEM) Scheme is to providing financial support to the youths of Assam State to encourage income generating activities.
- Every members of the Group will be receiving Rs. 50,000/- from Govt. of Assam. Maximum members to e benefited from a group would be 20 only.
- Under SVAYEM Scheme 2020, government planned to provide 1000 crore to eligible individuals.
